A client asked me how much a certain job will cost him

. I answered: "5,000 BGN"
He asked:
- "Is that much? That's a lot!"
So I asked:
- "How much did you think it would cost you?"
- "Maximum 500 BGN, it's not complicated and difficult."
- "For 500 BGN..!? I invite you to do it yourself." I replied.
- "Hmmm yes, but I don't know how."
-"For 1000 BGN I would teach you so that you know for next time and save 100 BGN.", I answered.
The client thought it was a good idea and accepted it.
Then I explain to him what he needs to have for this job:
- “various fasteners, machines, consumables, tools, etc. etc. ... "
- " But I don't own all these things! And I'm not going to buy all of this in just one go. "
- "Well, then I will lend you mine for BGN 2,000 so you can do it yourself. " I answer.
- "Yes, that's fine. " he tells me.
- "Perfect! Then I'll see you on Friday."
-"Ah, I can't on Friday. I only have time today." .
-"But I don't have time today to lend you my things and teach you how to work. You also need to purchase the necessary products that you still need. "
- “Do I have to go to a store and order from sites and pay for delivery? This will additionally take a lot of time and money from me, and you have everything. Can you sell me products that I will need? "
- "Okay, I will sell you one of mine for another 1000 BGN. You just have to come on time, because I have another job. I am waiting for you tomorrow at 7 in the morning to start work. "
- " You know what? It's too early for me. I'd better pay you 5000 BGN... I've already thought that all this will cost me a lot more..."

No one should ever undervalue someone's work just because they don't think the price is acceptable.
